October is upon us, meaning the NABD Subprime Conference is just around the corner once again. Judging from the introductory video featuring NABD co-founder Ingram Walters, change is where it’s at this year. Walters’ assertion that we are living in a rapidly evolving world where the BHPH dealer must also evolve is well taken.

Change can be overwhelming. If you plan to take the trip out to Las Vegas and the NABD Conference this year, we’d like to help. We’ve perused this year’s agenda and curated a couple of the sessions that intrigued us most; maybe you’ll want to attend these too.

Collections Best Practices

Collections is obviously hugely important. Payment reminders a big part of the GoldStar strategy. Twenty Groups are also a great source of information. What will Mr. Brotherton includes among his best practices? Color us intrigued. 

Accounting and Tax Planning in the Post Tax Reform World

Anything “tax law” is bound to be complicated. And here we are about to enter our first tax season under the new Tax Cut & Jobs Act of 2017. What does this mean for BHPH dealerships? Will consumers still have refund money to spend next spring? Well, who better to ask than a bunch of CPAs? Expo Grand Opening and Lunch

We’re going to be a little shameless and encourage you to be there when the expo hall opens on Tuesday. Yes, we’re sponsoring it, but look: it should be a good time (and we spent good money …), so why not stop by for the food and festivities. If you see us, give us a high-five while you’re there.
