Prior to FreightWaves, Ibrahiim spent nearly a decade producing macroeconomic analysis and constructing forecasting models as a Senior Economist for UPS. It was during this time that Ibrahiim developed a detailed understanding of the influence that economic conditions play in transportation and freight markets. Ibrahiim obtained his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Rutgers University before getting his Ph.D. from Emory University. He also spent time teaching Economics at Emory University and the Georgia Institute of Technology.
